EIA’s student council comprises of approximately 30 members consisting of students ranging from Grades 3-12.
The Council is formed of class representatives, who are selected by their fellow class mates, and Executives who are elected through a school-wide election process. Elections normally occur at the start of each academic year.
Once the new student council group is formed, elected members meet on a weekly basis with Mrs. Sahar Swaid-Kaddoura, Director of Student Affairs, where they share and discuss their ideas, interests, and concerns on behalf of their constituents. In addition to planning events that contribute to school spirit and community welfare, the student council is the voice of the student body.
The Executive members meet regularly with Mr. Abraham Abougouche, the School Principal, to discuss and execute student planned initiatives.
